The performances are complete and the reviews are coming in! Here's an excellent written review of our very own H2 Dance Co. by Broadway Baby.
"A refreshingly human take on dance and the unshakable human spirit, Dieser Ort is a stirring voyage of identity, humanity, and unwavering determination. Emerging choreographer Matthew Farmer sets this newest full-length, dance theatre work on the vibrant cast of H2 Dance Co. A rousing visual and musical journey of universalism, this piece captivates the inspiring and satiric battle between individuality and society."

Thank you again for your support of this project. We are looking forward to hearing more from the dancers as they return to campus. Make sure to follow them on Facebook if you don't already.
Check out the latest news from Hope College with a great article about H2 Dance Co. at the Fringe!
It is with hearts full or gratitude and love that we say a HUGE “Thank You” to everyone who donated to our campaign!!! Because of you, we not only met our goal, but we exceeded it!!!! We feel so blessed to have so many people in our lives who have given of their resources to make this performance and trip possible. Please know that you are forever in our hearts, and while there is no way we could possibly ever pay you all back, we will do our very best to represent you, Hope College, and the art of dance to the best of our abilities at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
On a similar note, because of your overwhelming generosity we can now add the additional money raised from this campaign to the Hope College International Dance Fund; a fund/endowment that the Hope College Dance Department will be growing in the coming year. The aim of this fund is to ensure that no future dance student ever be denied the life-changing opportunity of international travel and performance due to personal or family financial limitations; and so we can stop harassing you through posts and emails ;-) Currently the Dance Department is scheduled to host a 2 week educational trip and performance in Paris, France next May. Also in the future, the Dance Department is currently discussing a joint concert with Grosso Modo (a contemporary dance company located in Queretaro, Mexico) and Hope College dance students in the city of Queretaro. Needless to say, none of these international engagements would be possible for us students without the generous support of individuals like you. Again, THANK YOU!!!!!
Lastly, this success-filled update will be our last, as we are officially closing our fundraising campaign. While we know you are just as sad as we are to be saying goodbye, we are also sure that you are happy to have one last email to check in your inbox each day. However, this does not have to be goodbye forever. Be sure to continue to follow us on our journey to the Fringe via our Facebook page H2 Dance Co. at the Fringe. We will be posting pics and videos of last minute rehearsals, traveling shenanigans, tech rehearsals and performances, and just plain fun stuff. It is the least we can do to show our appreciation for all of the support you have given us. Also, we will be sending out our last round of perks in the coming week. If you have not received your perk by June 10th PLEASE email one of our directors (Matthew Farmer) at farmer@hope.edu. We would never want you to go without your much deserved perk.
One last time, we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! Your generosity and kindness has brought tears to our eyes. You are a part of our dance family now, and like all family you shall forever have our hearts.
Much Love,
H2 Dance Co.
There are only 8 days left in our campaign, and we are sooooo close. Please spread the word with any and everyone who will listen.
We are 14 days out from the OFFICIAL end of our campaign. We are at 95% of our total goal, but we need your help to cross the finish line in style. PLEASE share our site with anyone who will listen. We couldn't have gotten this far without you, and we can't finish without you either. This is a group effort, and we couldn't think of a better group of people to work with than you :-)

As we said, we've been hard at work. Here is a sneak peek of our rehearsals from last week.
We're back after a week off. As we mentioned, the decision to extend our fundraising campaign came straight from the top. Here is a wonderful letter from President Knapp which highlights Hope College's new international initiatives, and your's truly.Look for this letter in your mail if you subscribe to the Hope College mailing list; if not, feel free to read our uploaded version. Also, we've been busy little bees in rehearsal all last week. Keep an eye on your emails for pictures and videos of our rehearsals
Soon, you will see a copy of News from Hope College in your mailbox. In this issue, readers will learn all about crowdfunding and how they can help send Hope dancers to Edinburgh. Due to the upcoming publication we have extended the deadline for this project to May 31, 2016. In this way, we are able to reach more potential supporters throughout the Hope College community.
Everyone is confident that we will not only reach our goal of $60,000 to make this once in a lifetime trip a reality for the dancers, but also to support a new fund for international dance at Hope College for future experiences.
Thank you for making this project a success!
